The cradle features a spare battery charger - great to have if you have multiple batteries. If you want to use the cradle's spare battery charger, you also need to connect the bundled AC adapter. The AC adapter does not charge your device, it only provides power to the battery slot.

Poor alignment of phone and connector

Pros:	Nice illuminated spare stylus!
Cons:	too tricky to dock - lots of fumbling to get it aligned

The construction is good. The illuminated stylus looks real good BUT...
You can not walk up and "drop" the phone in to the cradle. You have to wiggle it about and try and line the connector with the hole in the phone. I have scratched the bottom of the phone attempting to dock it. Getting fed up with it and am looking for a different version. Once docked the phone kind of just hangs limp on the connector, tilted slightly to one side, no support. One nudge too many and you get the feeling the connector will snap off. I have bits of folded card packed in around the phone to hold it straight and steady. Yes it works and looks good but - not for me to fiddly by far. Sorry!
